MCAST needs you to PARTICIPATE and REPRESENT!

 

The KSM (Kunsill Studenti MCAST) is an independent, unaffiliated body at the heart of the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology campuses in Malta and Gozo, whose sole purpose is to represent and safeguard the rights of each and every MCAST student.

The KSM executive is composed of eight members who are directly elected by the students themselves in the yearly council election. The KSM executive members come from different satellite Institutes with the aim to involve the students in the College affairs, events, campaigns, and initiatives.

KSM’s main aims are to:

• Improve the communicative relationship between the student body,
  management and administration
• Organise activities, campaigns, events, and initiatives with the aim of involving the student body to the maximum
• Address students’ complaints and concerns and forward these to the MCAST administration
• Improve the overall College environment hand in hand with the administration
• Keep the student body updated with regard to general affairs going on at each and every satellite Institute
• Provide information and consultation services to the student body and provide said body with the opportunity to offer feedback and suggestions
• Provide opportunities to the student body by means of discussions, debates, and information sessions which serve as a direct benefit to student life at MCAST Institutes.

KSM encourages each and every student to lead an active campus life and participate in activities and events organised by both the Council and the College itself. The executive of the Council invites the student body as well as staff and administration to keep in close contact with the council itself and follow its work within MCAST Institutes through the KSM’s official social media.
