Course Description | This programme looks at Digital Marketing as a concept and offers the opportunity to explore the possible impacts, both positive and negative, that may be generated by the use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Social Media platforms as a business tool. The programme will provide the learners with the knowledge and understanding to create digital content for Digital Marketing, compare opinions, pass comments on the activities of marketing data and contacts, to monitor and analyse online business activities through the data gathered by the use of various business digital platforms. This programme is in the Emerging Digital Media Practitioner, Application Developer and Data Analyst Specialist pathways, with the intent to increases awareness of online publishing content services for Digital Marketing. Learners will develop an in depth understanding of the importance of Managing Marketing Planning as well as understanding the wide range of statistical data and information that surrounds them in their everyday life. It will enable them to recognise and to analyse both quantitative and qualitative data. Learners will develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of key camera, lighting and editing techniques and their uses. They will be looking at the historical and contemporary context as well as the application of both marketing and advertising in the area of Graphic Design. Students will gain the ability to communicate effectively through visual means is one of the basic skills for anyone working within the fields of both Fine Art and Game Design. |
