A balanced lifestyle – particularly a balanced diet is a key component of a healthy lifestyle, aiding our better functioning in the diverse spheres of life. This, together with exercising regularly can help us achieve and maintain the desired healthy weight for improved wellbeing. The Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Directorate is providing the services of a Registered Nutritionist to support service users in making the necessary changes for a healthier lifestyle and ultimately reach and maintain the established targets.
The Nutritionist will offer individual sessions during which one will be able to acquire information about improved food choices, nutritional facts about food, one’s BMI and advice about losing weight in a healthy manner. Students and staff will also be given the opportunity to share any queries and concerns, whilst obtaining well-informed advice.
