During my stay in Leeuwarden, I had the pleasure of working on the development of a digital game with Dutch students for a joint project between Valletta and Leeuwarden, which are European Capital Cities of Culture 2018. I found the experience extremely enjoyable and full of new experiences. The need to be self-sufficient and be responsible for myself helped me to learn more about life. I’ve also enjoyed learning to work with the Dutch students as well as fellow Maltese ones as a team to achieve a common goal.

During the free time, I had experienced the city’s cultural side by visiting the Oldehove church at the city centre. On the weekend I had the joy of visiting Amsterdam and experiencing the different style of buildings there in comparison to Malta.

I feel the mobility provided me with an opportunity to experience a different part of the world as well as have new experiences and learning opportunities.
