Course Description (English)

This degree is a synthesis of the most important elements of professional fine art practice as it concerns the underpinning knowledge, fundamental skills and understanding. Learners have the opportunity to appreciate and develop a range of practical fine art disciplines, including drawing, sculpture, painting, photography, print making and digital imaging. They will be encouraged to investigate the multidimensional aspect of fine art theory and practice, as well as a broad variety of subject matters, such as spiritual, moral, ethical, as well as environmental and socio-cultural issues. This degree programme will stimulate learners in developing both their own personal advancement and the right assets to establish a studio practice.

Din id-degree hija sinteżi tal-aktar elementi importanti tal-prattika tal-arti professjonali, billi tikkonċerna l-għarfien, il-ħiliet u l-fehim fundamentali. L-istudenti jkollhom l-opportunità li japprezzaw u jiżviluppaw firxa ta’ dixxiplini talarti prattika, li jinkludu t-tpinġija, l-iskultura, il-pittura, il-fotografija, l-istampar u l-iżvilupp ta’ immaġni diġitali. Huma jiġu mħeġġa jinvestigaw l-aspett multidimensjonali tat-teorija u l-prattika tal-arti, kif ukoll varjetà wiesgħa ta’ suġġetti, bħal dawk spiritwali, morali u etiċi, kif ukoll kwistjonijiet ambjentali u soċjokulturali. Dan il-programm fil-livell ta’ baċellerat jistimula lill-istudenti sabiex jiżviluppaw kemm fir-rigward ta’ progress fl-istudji tagħhom kif ukoll fit-trawwim tal-attributi meħtieġa biex jiftħu l-istudjo tagħhom.
