The EIT Climate-KIC Malta Hub was established in 2020 and is based at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) in partnership with AquaBiotech Group. Together we are implementing three strategic programmes this year: Young Innovators, Accelerator and Journey. These programmes are focused on empowering teachers, youth and young professionals to gain necessary knowledge and skills to combat climate change, as well as supporting and funding innovation start-ups. Check out the links below for further details.
This year we are also thrilled to be working closely with the Ministry for Environment, Climate Change and Planning (MECP) and the Ministry for Education and Employment (MEDE), among other key stakeholder groups. We are here to address Malta’s complex climate challenges in tangible ways and as part of a EU-wide network. Join us! If you are interested in learning more about the CKIC Hub, please get in touch with Hub Manager, Nika Levikov: email@example.com.
The EIT Urban Mobility RIS Hub Malta was created in 2020 to connect EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), with the local mobility ecosystem in Malta. The Malta Urban Mobility RIS Hub is the contact point for knowledge sharing and networking at national level. MCAST has formed a partnership with the Project Aegle Foundation and the Valletta Design Cluster.
This Hub is focused on changing the way we move in Malta. We are eager to collaborate in this endeavour, so join us for your chance to network, attend matchmaking events, workshops, training activities, accelerator programs, project opportunities and much more. Learn about the trends of urban mobility in Malta, engage and network with other stakeholders such as start-ups, local councils, research and innovative organisations and active citizens that share the same interest. If you are interested in learning more about the UM Hub, please get in touch with Project and Research Manager, Suzanne Maas: Suzanne.firstname.lastname@example.org.
