MCAST Delegation to participate in the Dubai Education Expo 2020

The Malta College for Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) will participate in the prestigious Dubai Expo 2020. Principal Professor Joachim James Calleja and Deputy Principal Stephen Vella will be hosting an MCAST Symposium at the Malta Pavilion on 14 December.

Over 25 million visitors are expected to attend the Dubai Expo, which opened its doors to the public back in October 2021. Moreover, around 200 entities, including other educational institutions and business entities from all over the world, will participate in this year’s World Expo.

 

MCAST representatives will participate in the Knowledge and Learning Week, which will take place between the 12th and the 17th of December. The College’s recently published Strategic Plan emphasizes the importance of working with international partners to deliver MCAST programmes internationally and encourage student mobility.

The Malta Pavilion within the Expo will be hosting several key seminars during the Knowledge and Learning Week. The seminars and discussions will promote Malta as a top training and education destination.

 

The Knowledge and Learning thematic week will also provide local education institutions, including MCAST, networking opportunities and the chance to collaborate with educational entities from all across the globe.

 

The Dubai Expo 2020 is held under the theme of ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future, echoing the powerful spirit of partnership and cooperation that has driven the UAE’s success in pioneering new paths of development and innovation.
