Principal and CEO Professor Joachim James Calleja said: “Establishing strong links with over 1830 industry partners is one of our College’s key strengths. These collaborations have a major influence on our courses as we ensure that our students are equipped with the relevant knowledge, skills and competences which will lead them to successful careers.

Our industry on campus vision is also beneficial to partners as we provide training and share our expertise across various sectors to strengthen businesses. We are delighted to establish links with Vibe FM, and this is an excellent opportunity for students to learn alongside media professionals. We will also encourage them to produce and host their original content.”

MCAST alumnus and Vibe FM Station Manager Frank Zammit said: “Having been in the very first student intake of MCAST back in 2001, this collaboration is exciting for me on a number of levels. We hope to continue to inspire future generations to aim high and continue to do better. As Vibe FM we understand the value of being able to use this partnership to engage with the student population of MCAST, which nowadays runs into thousands!

Moving forward, we have very exciting plans and this announcement is only the beginning of what I am sure will be a fruitful partnership that will ultimately benefit MCAST students in more ways than one.”
