The LSU Learning Support Centre
At the Learning Support Centre, Main Library, Paola, Learning Support lecturers help MCAST students work out their English and Maltese assignments, solve Mathematical problems and use Basic IT applications. You will find the Centre on the second floor of the Library and Learning Resource Centre and we are open daily from 08.00am to 16.00pm. The Learning Support Unit (LSU)
LSU lecturers help MCAST students who experience difficulties in speaking, listening, reading and writing (English and Maltese), Mathematics and IT skills.
Learning support programmes are given:
- by a team of professional lecturers
- in small groups to ensure individual attention
- in all MCAST institutes
- at the LSU Learning Support Centre, LLRC, Kordin
- at different levels (Levels 1 , 2 and 3 of the MQC NQF)
- following an initial assessment test and/or interview
- according to the needs of students
