Memorandum of Understanding between The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology
And Core Malta Education Solutions Limited

The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology and Core Malta Education Solutions Limited (Core Malta) have signed a memorandum of understanding that defines a collaborative partnership to set-up and provide vocational education and training (VET) programmes in a number of countries where Core Malta will operate by tapping on the VET expertise of MCAST and the entrepreneurial initiatives and business sector expertise of Core Malta.

Under this agreement, Core Malta will appoint MCAST as its training course provider in VET abroad. MCAST will provide VET course content with the option of customisation when the need arises. MCAST will provide certification for the courses supplied following adequate verification that MCAST quality assurance standards have been achieved and that the whole training delivery setup conforms to MCAST regulations and requirements subject to conformity with the provisions of NCFHE regulations. Under the agreement MCAST will also provide “Train-The-Trainers” courses in order to adequately prepare and certify the trainers who will deliver the programmes.

International students who follow these programmes will also have the possibility to pursue their studies at MCAST in Malta once the students’ qualifications are appropriately verified.

MCAST will also offer consultancy and guidance to Core Malta about the setting up, facilities and equipment requirements at Core Malta international study centres.
