The MCAST Diploma in Creative Arts provides a broad-based curriculum giving students the opportunity to explore a wide range of disciplines related to the creative fields. Students registering for this course will normally have a strong inclination towards the creative disciplines, but will usually possess little or no prior training in the field.

Thus, through this programme you will be able to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to prepare for entry into higher level courses in the creative fields, such as the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and the Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production.

Based on a series of study units, students will harness theoretical knowledge, as well as practical skills during workshop based sessions related to given art and design briefs.

Continuous assessment is integrated into your course. Working to different assignment briefs, you will give evidence of the ability to achieve unit learning outcomes, while at the same time building a relevant portfolio of creative work
