This one-year programme provides students who completed their compulsory education and are in possession of their School Leaving Certificate an opportunity to follow an introductory course in the field of Art and Design.
The programme focuses on basic art and design principles, with an emphasis on vocational practice, which enables students to understand better the vocation they intend to follow and prepare them for further training in the field.
Study/Course Delivery
Students will learn basic art and design principles through workshop practice, art studio sessions and formal class tuition. Learners will be offered regular support in English, Maltese and Mathematics, part of which will be embedded within specific workshop sessions.
Assessment
Assessment is continuous and involves both assignment work and tests.
