Course Description

The programme provides a basic work related qualification. It is also an opportunity to consider progression to higher level courses in the field of electrical and electronics engineering.

The vocational content of the course is designed around the needs of the Electrical / Electronics Industry.

The engineering sector continues to suffer from a skills gap and needs to keep up with rapidly developing technologies. Undoubtedly, this qualification gives new entrants the underpinning knowledge and specific skills required to meet the needs of modern engineering industry.

Assessment

Learners will be expected to actively participate in the learning programme which is made up of various study units. Assignments expect learners to produce the evidences necessary which prove that the necessary knowledge and prescribed skills have been understood.
