Course Description

This course has been developed to gear students for a higher level of work responsibility within the health sector.

Students will specialise in topics such as the principles of health management and practice, the physiological principles of health and social care, and how to create and sustain effective work partnerships within the health sector. Students will experience work placement practice under the supervision of experienced health professionals, thus furthering their insights into the profession.

This course is also intended for those who wish to further their studies in Health and Social Care Practice by means of the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Health and Social Care (Practice).

Assessment

The course is mainly assessed by assignments and work placements.
