MCAST Students in the Electronics Industry in France (PL-9/2003)
Sender Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Partner Lycee Professionnel Jules Verne, France
Date 22nd September - 19th October, 2003
Beneficiaries 4 students
Budget 6293EUR - 4290EUR (Leonardo) + 2003 EUR (MCAST or other sources)
Project Summary

This project is the only means by which the beneficiaries will be able to experience different ways of building, apart from the traditional Maltese way. This transnational experience will be able to provide a wider horizon for the students and thus enriches the students' learning experience.

The beneficiaries of this project are students between the ages of 16-20 who attend the Istitute of Electronics Engineering within MCAST. They are following the Industrial Electronics Course. They will be chosen among all the interested students by means of an interview.

The objectives of this Leonardo project are the following:

1. To gain essential work experience which will help the beneficiaries to encounter electronics criteria not met locally.

2. To give a practical dimension to certain aspects of the beneficiaries' academic knowledge.

This project is essential since it will allow MCAST, which is the largest VET institution in Malta, to offer an education with an ever-increasing international dimension.

This project will take place in France between the 15th September and the 12th October 2003.
